My Story
I didn’t grow up dreaming of being a writer — I was too busy reading under the covers with a flashlight, long after I was supposed to be asleep. Books were my obsession, and romance quickly became my favorite escape. I fell head over heels with the genre when my uncle gave me Pride and Prejudice for my 13th birthday. From then on, I devoured love stories by the dozen — sometimes two or three a day if I had the time (and I always made time).
In high school, I told stories on stage as a full-blown theatre kid, never suspecting that writing might be in my future. Looking back, I probably should’ve seen the signs, but I tend to be a little...
Oblivious.
It wasn’t until my early thirties that inspiration struck — in the form of a truly awful romance novel (author to remain nameless). I threw the book down and thought, I can do better than this. And just like that, a writer was born.
These days, I write stories filled with heat, heart, and far-flung destinations — always with a guaranteed happy ending. My characters are strong, sexy, and sometimes stubborn. But so am I. 😉
